Vicki Adkins
Vicki Adkins is a television talk show host, producer and a spiritual leader. She is a champion that make sa positive impact wherever she goes. Vicki is a proud wife to Bill Adkins and a mother of two brilliant kids. Bailee now 26, and Brett who has left this world to be with his Savior.
As the wife of Bill Adkins for 29 years, Vicki learned to juggle all situations when it comes to life and family. She supported Bill as he expanded their family business from creating and owning one award winning automotive dealership to six dealerships with over one thousand employees to manage. While Bill managed their enterprise, Vicki found ways to use that platform for the good of people.
Vicki is no stranger to the philanthropic community. She cares about culture and community. For two years she served on the Board of Directors for Minnie’s Food Pantry. She and Bill supported the organization in its grassroots stage. Vicki was a creator, innovator and teacher on the board. She used her voice and resources to help the charity develop their five year strategic plan and launch what has been voted as the number one charity on Dallas for six years in a row. Vicki also served on the Nancy Lieberman Board of Directors where she provided motivation and guidance to their board.Vicki is a goal driven individual who brings light and forethought to every room she enters. Whether she is giving her time or talents she is known in North Texas as the one to call on. She and Bill always answer the call when charities need help on fulfilling their mission, their generosity will be their legacy long after they are gone.
After the sudden death of their son Brett, Vicki and Bill immediately launched the Brett Adkins Foundation. Their experience with other organizations helped catapult their charity to its current status of become a leading charity in North Texas. The charity helps underprivileged, at risk kids attend college and have provided over 250,000 meals to families in need.
Vicki enjoys golfing, wine, cooking and traveling with her husband Bill who recently retired and became a pilot. She also enjoy spending time with family and friends. Vicki is an incredible woman that leads the way for generations to come. She is an ambassador for good and she empowers and inspires others to succeed
